I recently picked up a Nikon D3s. I love the D3, but I had no idea how much I would adore the “s” version. I have been shooting some low light bands, and some night time shooting. Here are some of the late night stuff, the post before this one has the band shoot.

It has been a while since I have been out shooting some star trails. It was time to make a trip to one of my favorite spots. Despite being more then a little bit treacherous, it is amazing. However, do to the precarious structure that we are on, I got a little to much vibration in the stars. So I just turned it in to a light painting shot.

Here, fellow shooters Val and Dan and I wandered around the overpasses one night and shot some car streaks.
