Birdies & Brushes, presented by SportHaus! It was exclusive and inspiring event featuring renowned visual artist Michael Israel. He took the stage for an impassioned art performance, creating five one-of-a-kind paintings in no time at all. Each of these unique creations were auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum and the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation.

I was asked to photograph this very fun and beautiful event. While I was not permitted to shoot the actual performance by Michael Israel. this gave me an interesting challenge to tell a story without photographing a subject. I hope that the spirit of the even is seen.
